5th Workshop on Maritime Computer Vision (MaCVi)
MaCVi @ WACV 2027
Accepted: MaCVi will return at WACV 2027. We look forward to bringing the maritime computer vision community together for the fifth edition of the workshop.
Work in progress: This page provides an initial overview. Dates, submission details, challenges, program information, and organizers will be updated as planning progresses.
About the Workshop
Maritime environments connect computer vision, robotics, autonomous systems, marine science, and environmental monitoring. Perception systems must operate across changing weather and illumination, reflections and waves, low underwater visibility, scarce annotations, small or distant targets, and constrained onboard hardware.
MaCVi @ WACV 2027 will provide a forum for original research, practical systems, datasets, benchmarks, and deployment experience spanning underwater, surface, aerial, and remote maritime observation. The workshop will combine contributed papers with invited perspectives and community benchmark activities.
Workshop Components
- Contributed research papers on maritime computer vision and related systems
- Benchmark challenges covering underwater and surface-based maritime perception
- Research presentations, invited perspectives, and community discussion
