Format
Half day, in person, on January 4 or 5, 2027. All accepted archival papers will be presented in the poster session, with selected papers additionally receiving short spotlight presentations. Challenge sessions will report dataset statistics, performance trends, failure modes, and winning methods.

Tentative Invited Speakers
Leading candidates being invited for complementary expertise and representation include:
- Kaushik Mitra (IIT Madras) — computational imaging
- Claire Dune (Université de Toulon) — underwater robotics
- Kakani Katija (MBARI) — ocean vision
- Steve Murawski (University of South Florida) — operational ocean science
- Ioannis Rekleitis (University of Delaware) — underwater SLAM and marine robotics
One speaker and a backup will be confirmed closer to the workshop date.
Archival Papers
MaCVi @ WACV 2027 plans an archival track of double-blind papers (8 pages plus references), submitted via OpenReview and published in the WACV 2027 workshop proceedings, with each paper receiving at least three reviews. See the Call for Papers for topics, submission details, and dates.
Challenges
Challenge sessions will cover dataset statistics, performance trends, failure modes, and winning methods across the workshop's benchmark tracks. See the Challenges page for track details.
